David collier
David started gymnastics at the age of 14, and continued all the way through high school. When he went to college, he was forced to quit because there was no gymnastics program. Instead David has been an active member of the cheerleading club here at the university for three years. His junior year he started up gymnastics again when the university created this program.
Nicole Boeckle
Nicole loved doing gymnastics every since she was a little girl. She participated actively in the sport up until the age of 13. She competed in a few meets at this age, and practiced up to level 6. Upon an injury, she quit at the age of 13. Nicole picked up gymnastics again her sophomore year when the university created this program.
Nikki Maddie
Nikki started gymnastics at the age of two attending mommy and me classes. She was put on the competitive team when she was five years old and she started competing level 4. Nikki was the state champion on bars in 2008 in level 8. She made it to regionals two years in a row in level 8 and she went to level 9 before she joined the high school gymnastics team at the age of 13. She qualified for re individual counties in all 6 years she was on the team. Nikkis senior year she qualified for floor.
Sam tilton
Sam started dance when she was 5 years old at a local studio. She quickly discovered that dance was not for her and switched to gymnastics. She enjoyed the power tricks over the style ones with dance and watching the Olympics got her interested. She stayed at that same studio for 15 years, and then quit when she went to college. Her senior year she joined the UNH gymnastics club. Her favorite events are bars and floor.
Victoria rizzuto
Tori is essentially new to the sport of gymnastics. She did competitive cheerleading for 3 years and gymnastics for 3 years as a child. Tori is extremely optimistic to start up again because its something she has never lost passion for. Her favorite events are uneven bars and floor.
Devin Erickson
Devin started gymnastics by taking basic classes until about 2nd grade. When she was in 7th and 8th grade she went to inter murals and decided to try out for the high school team. In 9th grade she joined Carmel High School's gymnastics team. She was a three time national scholar athlete, four time divisionalist, and received the " most improved" award. She was an all around competitor, but specialized on bars and floor. When she arrived at the university of new haven she realized she was not ready to give gymnastics, and created the UNH gymnastics team.
